If you ever have the chance to drink the beer above, Puntigamer from the Graz area of Austria, don't hesitate, it's a beer drinker's dream: richly organic but also very smooth. Really enjoyed drinking this bottle with an equally delicious bratwurst in Graz city centre a couple of weeks ago.
A week or so before this I'd been to Vienna with my good old friend Dave Dealy (below) who'd come over to watch Kansas in Warsaw from where we'd moved on to Vienna and Bratislava. Below, Dave is enjoying himself with a Dunkel, a good dark Germanic beer:
