Warsaw (Poland): Passing the Lithuanian Embassy


Going back a few weeks here when I was on an autumnal stroll through the big Embassy district of Warsaw, and above, I'm passing the Lithuanian Embassy (visited Vilnius in Lithuania about 10-12 years ago and really liked the place).

Below, I'm heading towards the 'Three Crosses' in Warsaw city centre, passing the Atlas-type figures:


Have always kind of liked this building without really knowing what it is:


And below, we have the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw:


Only ever been in the Sheraton Hotel bar once, again about 10-12 years ago.  Can recall a more than decent, resident American band doing a sterling version of Lynyrd Skynyrd's 'Sweet Home Alabama' there.  Moreover, the sociology on offer was fascinating, observing the punters being lined up with (mainly Ukrainian) 'escorts'.
