Warsaw: New Year's Eve Pictures

Above, one of my favourite pictures from on Krakowskie last night.

Before walking down to Krakowskie, I'd got off the metro in Warsaw city centre and had had a quick look at the concert stage in front of the Palace of Culture:

At this time, people were still queueing to get in the enclosed area(s) so I didn't get to hear any live music.

Enjoyed the walk down to Krakowskie sometimes passing through lit-up arches:

Another of my favourite places from last night, the wonderful lighting near the Copernicus statue on Krakowskie:

Had to juxtapose this lighting and church together:

Had to get a shot of the Presidential Palace too:

And then, as we got nearer the Old Town, things started getting seriously interesting:

Crowds of people were ceaslessly hustling to get their shots here:

And why not?  It was an enchanted place:

Loved the Christmas Tree outside the Royal Castle:

People ice-skating in the Old Town Square:

And another Christmas Tree in the back end of the Old Town:

Really enjoyed this walk.
