Trentemoller Live at Warsaw Progresja 5th February 2017
Really glad I got to this last night, wasn't in the mood for a concert to be honest, and literally got there a couple of minutes before Trentemoller took the stage.
The band came on with my favourite instrumental tune of theirs, 'November'.
The only shot I got of the keyboard maestro, Anders Trentemoller, was here as he was briefly venturing away from the keyboards with a tambourine:
If truth be known, a few months ago, I'd never heard of Trentemoller, but when I saw their name on the Progresja concert schedule, I checked them out and immediately liked them (think that Marie Fisker has an incredibly beautiful voice, and have come to really like her solo stuff too).
The concert last night itself, a nice balance fluctuating between the longer (kind of Prog meets Ethereal) instrumental tunes and shorter, melodic, alternative/dance-type tunes. Yeah, I like it when things are eclectic with plenty of subtle changes of mood.
From afar, also found the subtle stage show interesting, live music is an audio-visual thing, after all:
Always like to spend the first half of a gig down near the front, and then retreat further back for a couple of beers.
The band taking in their well-earned applause at the end of the set:
