Slowdive Live at Warsaw Palladium 2nd October 2017
A few shots from the wonderful Slowdive gig at Warsaw Palladium last night.
As I expected, the gig turned out to be something like a 'dreamscape', both musically and visually:
This was the first time I'd seen Slowdive, and it was nice listening to 'Crazy for You'; 'Star Roving'; 'No Longer Making Time' etc. live.
Discovered Slowdive a few years ago, 'by accident' while Youtube (music) surfing in the early hours one weekend.
Just really like bands that provide 'dreamscape' music (my definition of this would be something like: music where the songs subtly run into into each other, and where the individual senses his/her psyche/self being bathed in beautiful, therapeutic-type, melodic sounds).
Just love it when music is beautiful in an understated way, and this is how I view Slowdive.
And of course, a big part of the Slowdive enchantment is the magical intermingling of male and female vocals.
