Passed this Marie-Curie Skłodowska statue while heading towards the Fountain Park in Warsaw last weekend.
The statue lies next to the Maria Gothic church at the top of the Vistula bank looking down on the Fountain Park.
Have just read that the Maria Gothic church dates back to 1411 as a parish church, was destroyed during the War in 1944, and was rebuilt in 1966.
