After the Old Latin Mass yesterday, there was a short Corpus Christi procession around the four altars inside the Redemptorist church:
Then, while walking near St. Faustina's shrine church, I caught up with a big outside procession.
After the cross-bearer, the nuns, a lot of them quite young, marched behind:
And then a group of priests:
With one priest, under canopy, carrying the monstrance containing the Blessed Sacrament:
And the procession turned a corner to stop at the first outside altar:
This first outside altar was being looked after by a small group of nuns:
And the procession then continued down the street:
Making its way to another outside altar:
After the prayers and devotions at this altar, the procession made its way to its final destination, an altar outside a big, red-bricked, Gothic-looking church:
And I caught sight of the tuba and trumpet players set in the middle of the crowd:
Catching this outside procession was a blessing after attending the Old Latin Mass on Corpus Christi.
