Laibach at Manchester Ritz (23-02-25)

Sunday evening and it was time to see Laibach at Manchester Ritz (my first concert in Manchester since seeing Black Sabbath at MEN Arena in 2017, I think):

Of course, Laibach was always going to be a great audio-visual experience:

From the first set, Boji and Alle gegen Alle (Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft song) were the two tunes that caught my ear.

In the second set, it was Trans-National and the wonderfully haunting Leben heißt Leben (Opus song) that proved to be my highlights.

A lot has been speculated about a fascinating mystique that underlies Laibach's great music.

And during the wonderful audio-visual performance, I couldn't help but keep thinking of one name, Friedrich Nietzsche.

Of living life to the full with powerful drive and motivation, and not allowing oneself to become the last man (a plebeian/woke).

My friend Wobbler also came up with an interesting observation, he kind of viewed Laibach as a cross between Kraftwerk and Rammstein.
