Bosa (Sardinia): Sleepy Riverside Views

Bosa was full of pleasant riverside views:

The town had a nice sleepy, laid-back kind of atmosphere especially next to the river:

Bonifacio (Corsica): St. John the Baptist's Church

Quickly passing and popping inside St. John the Baptist's church in Bonifacio Old Town.

Bonifacio (Corsica): Looking Down at the Water

Here we are up in Bonifacio Old Town looking down at the sea above and down on the harbour below:

Tempio Pausania (Sardinia): A Museum-Type Hotel

Above, there is a wonderful shot from the hotel we stayed at near Tempio Pausania.

In the reception area and other parts of the building, this hotel sometimes resembled a museum:

And the recurring sun-type symbol of Sardinia is visible on the tiles as you enter the hotel:

Recognise the traditional Sardinian, male and female clothes below through reading DH Lawrence's 'Sea and Sardinia':

Sardinia: Oristano Cathedral

We went into Oristano Old Town not knowing what to expect, and undoubtedly, the highlight was seeing St. Mary's Cathedral which dates back to the 12th century.

While I was walking round the Cathedral, a lady worker there, turned on the light and encouraged me to take a shot of the crucifix below:

My wife also really loved this Baroque cathedral.

Oristano (Sardinia): Maskers

Didn't get to see any maskers in the flesh in Sardinia, but at least we got a glimpse of them on these billboards in Oristano:

Was on the lookout for the maskers through having read DH Lawrence's 'Sea and Sardinia'.
