Bratislava: A Beautiful Old Town Square

Just one of the beautiful squares I encountered in Bratislava Old Town.

Here, people were regularly taking each other's pictures alongside this figure:

Sadly, this picture sums up Palm Sunday 2017.

Really is time that Christians in the Middle East were properly protected against the atrocities and, at times, genocide being committed against them.

Bratislava: Interesting Building near the Train Station

This building near the train station caught my eye.  You turn left after this building for a nice walk down towards Bratislava Old Town.

Bratislava: UFO Restaurant Building

While on the other side of the River Danube, I was inevitably drawn to the 'UFO Landing' building on the corner of a bridge crossing over the river:

When I got up close, I discovered there was a restaurant at the top, and that you got up there by lift.

But still couldn't persuade myself to go up there.

Bratislava: Across the River

After I'd crossed the river on the green tramway bridge, I came across the interesting-looking Arena above, and was able to look back across the river at the outskirts of the Old Town:
