Kansas Cancel European Tour

To say that I'm p*ssed off about this is an understatement.  Was fully set up to go and see Kansas (one of the best bands to ever grace the planet) in Poznan on July 14th, but have just heard that the whole of the Kansas European tour has been cancelled.

Guess I can take solace in the fact I've seen Kansas twice before, in Berlin in 2004 and Warsaw in 2014, but still feel gutted.

Warsaw: New Arrivals in the City Centre

One of the big talking points in Warsaw at the moment is the issue of groups of young, male Muhammadans becoming far more visible in the city centre.  Just recently, I've witnessed this phenomenon through having to visit Warsaw city centre numerous times over the last couple of months.

Bury (Lancashire): Another Old Friend

With this picture, it is good to see my old friend, Dave.  Have known Dave since many years ago at St. Gabriel's in Bury.  Like the way that he's juxtaposed in front of the Buddha and Laurel and Hardy statues here.

Have seen Patti Smith a couple of times:  at Manchester Apollo in the mid-1990s and Warsaw a couple of years ago.
