My Mental Jukebox: Part 2


A song that has continually made its way to the forefront of my mental jukebox since I first heard it in the late 1970s: 'Just What I Needed' by The Cars. It's just a first class tune, a touch quirky but also highly melodic.

Another Great Czech Beer


Have started drinking this great Czech beer recently.  It seems to have a subtle bitter taste.  Think I've read somewhere on the Internet that the hops for this brewery's beer are grown in red soil.

Szczebrzeszyn: Harvest Sunday Bigos


After outdoor Mass had finished (below) it was time to eat the communal Harvest Sunday meal of pork bigos.  Above, the people of Szczebrzeszyn are getting their bigos.
