Warsaw Riverside: Approaching the Spider's Web Bridge
In the background, you can see the bridge that I call the spider's web bridge.
Think that this bridge shows that (post-) modern buildings don't have to always be ugly.

Warsaw Riverside: Passing the Concrete Fish
Passed these concrete fish, in some kind of children's sandpit, I think, during my five or six-hour walk alongside the river Vistula the other month.

Warsaw Riverside: Passing the Drinking Spout
Wasn't sure whether to grab a drink of water here or not, the drinking spout near Warsaw University Library, not far from the river Vistula.
Public Service Broadcasting Live at Warsaw Klub Hybrydy 15th November 2018
Throughly enjoyed Public Service Broadcasting when I saw them at Warsaw Hydrozagadka last year, and it was the same case when I saw them at Warsaw Hybrydy on Thursday night.
Of course, crowd favourites like 'Spitfire' and 'Go!' went down a treat.
And, for me, the wonderful audio-visual combination was incredible during the final encore, 'Everest':
But my favourite tunes of the night were 'Korolev' and 'Gagarin' (currently find myself on the Internet finding out more information about Sergei Korolev, the mysterious, Soviet space technology designer from the 1950s and 1960s).

The Breeders Live at Warsaw Klub Niebo 13th November 2018
Finally got to see The Breeders live last night. For one reason or another, The Breeders had always eluded me over the years (did see The Pixies at Glastonbury in the late 1980s and at Manchester G-Mex in the early 1990s).
Anyway, thoroughly enjoyed The Breeders' set at the Klub Niebo last night with great old tunes ('Saints'; 'Divine Hammer'; 'Safari'; 'Cannonball' etc.) and interesting new tunes, especially 'Dawn: Making an Effort' (think this is a beautiful song):
Spent the first half of the gig just behind the mixing desk.
And later on, retreated to the back to have a couple of beers.

Warsaw Riverside: Passing a Mural Wall
Saw this mural wall while walking alongside the river Vistula:
Despite it not really being my kind of art, I found the mural wall's wide range of colour interesting.

Warsaw: Passing Poniatowski Bridge
Another highlight from my walk alongside the river Vistula in Warsaw, passing the Poniatowski Bridge which leads down to the National Football Stadium:
Have just read that the Poniatowski Bridge was built in the early 20th century and needed to be rebuilt after both World Wars.
Really like the small towers which are a major feature of the bridge:
