It was only a bit but I definitely did see a bit of snow (above) over the recent Christmas period in Ramsbottom.
Don't really have much time for my hometown of Bury in Lancashire, but have always liked the Ramsbottom area of the town, as it has a more old-worldly feel to it.
Was also nice to see hikers with their backpacks on getting off the steam train at Ramsbottom to go hiking round the area (probably around the moors on Holcombe Hill):
