Piotr Rubik Live at Kolbuszowa Sports Stadium 3rd September 2017

By accident rather than design, we ended up seeing (the kind of half Classical-half Pop) composer Piotr Rubik and his orchestra, choir and lead singers at Kolbuszowa Sports Stadium in south-eastern Poland last night:

We flew from Warsaw to Rzeszow; got to Kolbuszowa; booked into the Kolbuszowa Sports Stadium hotel for two nights (2nd-3rd September) as we were attending a nephew's wedding reception somewhere near Kolbuszowa; and discovered that on the second night, Piotr Rubik was giving a free concert at the Sports Stadium:

Out of curiosity, we caught quite a lot of the Piotr Rubik concert (in the constant drizzling rain), and it must be said that I found the music pleasantly melodic, especially liking the voices of the choir and lead singers:

Have just read that Piotr Rubik gets slated for being 'pseudo-Classical', but, for somebody like me, who doesn't really like or understand Classical music, the Pop-type element of his music was very welcome.
