Bury (Lancashire): Visiting Ainsworth Unitarian Church
Another place off my bucket-list of things to see in my hometown of Bury, Lancashire. Have read that Ainsworth Unitarian church dates back to 1715:
Certainly is a beautiful, old building and well worth a visit for a few pictures:
Ainsworth Unitarian church has a Facebook site, and inside the church, it seems to have wonderful, wooden box pews.
Unfortunately, the church seems to be only open once a month for religious services, so it looks like it's going to be difficult to ever see the wooden box pews, as I only pass through Bury for a few days each year.
Still, it was great to catch such a grand, old building from the outside.
