Avila (Spain): The Church of San Pedro

Came across the Romanesque church of San Pedro (St. Peter) in Santa Teresa Square, just before you reach the City Walls of Avila while walking from the Convent of San Jose.

This church, which is said to date back to about 1100, had an incredibly beautiful and old-looking front door:

If I remember correctly, the floor inside the church of San Pedro is made of wood, which makes you somewhat lose your balance as you walk round the place (taking pictures inside the church isn't allowed).
