Blue Oyster Cult Live at Manchester Academy 25th June 2017

Absolutely loved this gig from start to finish.

The first Blue Oyster Cult album being done in its entirety worked a treat, giving the first half of the gig a real psychaedelic feel especially with tunes like 'She's As Beautiful As a Foot' and 'Workshop of the Telescopes'.  After this, there was an interesting mixture of well-known tunes ('Godzilla'; 'The Red and the Black'; 'The Golden Age of Leather'; 'Burnin' for You'; 'Hot Rails To Hell'; 'Don't Fear The Reaper' etc.) and lesser-known tunes ('The Vigil'; 'Tattoo Vampire'; 'Lips in the Hills' etc.).  Particularly enjoyed 'Tattoo Vampire' and 'Lips in the Hills', as both tunes have an (almost) punky-type feel.
