Inishmore: Some Catholic Religious Imagery
Near the harbour, we were greeted by the Celtic Cross above.
Just looked on the Internet, and the building below seems to be St. Brigid and St. Oliver Plunkett's Catholic church:
Came across the Marian shrine below while walking deeper into the island:
Also passed the crucifix below, which, if my memory serves me right, came just after what looked like an Irish-speaking school/college on the way to Dun Aengus Cliffs/Fort:
And went past the monument topped with a cross (one of several) below which one of my friends thought may've been a monument dedicated to dead fishermen:
However, rather foolishly, we never left enough time to visit the Seven Churches on Inishmore.
