By chance, I wandered high up the streets of central Lisbon and ended up facing the Castle (above):
And then really enjoyed wandering down the meandering narrow streets towards the seafront:
While doing this, I ran into these musicians who were helping to create a great atmosphere on a wonderful spring day (it was also a perfect 27 degrees celsius - nicely warm but not overbearing):
And I loved watching the (often yellow) trams making their way round the bends in the narrow streets:
Yes, I found Lisbon a genuinely charming place on my whistlestop trip there.
