Here we are on a beautiful Algarve beach walking towards the Porches cliff-top, Our Lady of the Rock chapel:
Officially known as the Fort of Our Lady of the Rock or the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Rocha, nobody seems to be exactly sure of the origins of the Chapel/Fort, with there being various hypotheses concerning (pre-) medieval centuries.
Still, through pressing my small mobile phone against the glass partition, I was more than happy with the picture of the Marian altar that I got:
And afterwards, it was back to walking on the Algarve beach, looking back at Our Lady of the Rock in the increasing distance:
