Here we're back in Lisbon with the Tower of St. Vincent, also known as the Belem Tower, an incredible early 16th century fort:
The fort is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and our guide told us that it was originally built as a lookout tower to protect the people of Lisbon from any potential advance by the Moors:
Thus, with this wonderful sense of medieval history, quite a few people queue up to go inside this wonderful building:
