Bradford-on-Avon wasn't on our itinerary, but somehow we ended up there.
At Bristol train station, they told us to get on the Portsmouth train for Dorchester, and, of course, it soon transpired that we were on a goose chase, as we needed the Weymouth train for Dorchester. Thankfully, the situation was easily remedied by getting off the Portsmouth train at Bradford-on-Avon to wait for the next Weymouth train.
As it turned out, the next Weymouth train (the last one of the day) was due in three hours, so this gave us some time to explore Bradford-on-Avon which immediately looked impressive:
