Kotek's Profile Shots

Kotek was up on the wardrobe, sat on a box of chocolates, when he allowed a couple of profile shots to be taken.

Lentil Soup for Lent

My wife's excellent lentil soup for Lent, which she says is Greek in origin, has vinegar added it to represent Christ's suffering during the carrying of the Cross and Crucifixion.

It does contain quite a lot of garlic, which I don't usually like, but there's so many other flavours at play in this soup that the garlic isn't a big problem.

Steve Hackett: Warsaw Progresja (17th March 2022)

With all the garbage going on in the world at the moment, this concert was a real godsend:

With Steve Hackett and his band offering a brilliant Prog lifeline to everybody.

Yeah, this was a great St. Patrick's Day night out:

Loved the gig from start to finish, with the band first doing a handful of Hackett solo tunes (Clocks/ The Angel of Mons; Every Day etc.).

Then doing the classic Genesis, Seconds Out set.

Found myself being mesmerised with Carpet Crawlers; I Know What I Like; Cinema Show etc.; and above all else, the twenty-odd minute, Supper's Ready.

Saw Steve Hackett about 40 years ago on the Highly Strung tour at Manchester Apollo, so it was good to finally catch up with him live again last night.

Yeah, massive thanks to Steve Hackett and his band for giving us all a much-needed cheer-up so to say.

Kotek's Umbrella

The picture shows that Kotek has taken a shine to this black umbrella.
