Wool (Dorset): The Collapsed Bridge
Sadly, we saw that the historic bridge at Wool had collapsed. The year before I'd been here taking shots of the bridge and Woolbridge Farm for their Tess and Angel Clare honeymoon significance (from Hardy's 'Tess of the d'Urbervilles', of course).
But still, after a five-mile hike back from Lulworth Cove, we had some refreshing pints watching Tyson Fury's comeback fight in a good local pub:

Could see that someone had put some effort into making their workplace look a bit more attractive.

Bury (Lancashire): A Farcical Little Tale
Back in my hometown of Bury, Lancashire, I found this place an absolute farce, spent 45 minutes in a queue trying to buy an envelope, then gave up.
At Turton and Entwistle Reservoir
With one of my best friends, John, at Turton and Entwistle reservoir (the aesthetic side of Blackburn/Darwen).
It's always nice to have a pint after doing a circuit of the reservoir.

A Wattle Fence in Dorset
Hot on the Thomas Hardy trail somewhere between Waterston Manor and Druce Farm, my travelling companion, who is a fan of all things agricultural/colloquial, was salivating at the sight of this wattle fence.
