After going through a side gate at the Tencreek Campsite, I went on an evening stroll and came across the 13th century Church of St. Talland:
Which looked stunning at sundown:
The features that really caught my eye were an arch:
And really old-looking steps:
Plus, of course, the tower, as sundown came more into play:
The Saint Tallan Church Website explains that the word “'Saint' is probably an addition to the original Cornish names of Tal Lan, which means, The Holy Place (Tal) on The Brow of the Hill (Lan)".
The Website also makes known that the church is set "beside the South West Coast Footpath and a section of the Cornish Celtic Way between Looe and Polperro".
Yeah, the church was set in an incredible location:
And as things got darker, I made my way back to the Campsite, passing several more interesting sights:
All in all, it was a great evening stroll.
