After my coastline walk from St. Talland church, I started getting acquainted with the general ambience of Looe harbour and town centre:
Have just read that alongside being known for sea and shellfish, Looe is a big centre for shark fishing.
My main reason for being in Looe: I was here for the upcoming Kernowfornia Music Festival, with Marillion headlining on the Friday night:
After seeing what the Festival site looked like on East Looe beach, I crossed back over to West Looe and came across St. Nicholas church, perched on a bend in the road:
Found this church incredibly still and peaceful inside:
A good place to find a reflective break from the ever-moving world outside.
And across from St. Nicholas church, I took a steep upward path to Tencreek Campsite:
This steep path did wonders for my knees and hips, and proved to be a much safer alternative to the treacherous main road that led up to Tencreek.
