After lunch in Chipping, we got out of the car somewhere very scenic in the Forest of Bowland while heading towards Whitewell:
Have never really been out this way before:
My two friends told me that although the place looked great, it could be grey and bleak during winter.
A gushing small river or large brook gave the place some atmosphere:
And of course, it was good to walk dinner off a little.
In such pleasant surroundings.
At one point, we passed what looked like a small reservoir:
After the stroll, it was onwards to Whitewell ...
