Warsaw: The Lone Wooden Cross

Came across this lone wooden cross, which stood alone in a deserted field, while walking from the Stodoła into Mokotow yesterday.

Not sure if the cross is Eastern Orthodox or Uniat (Eastern Rite) Catholic, but it made quite an impression on me.

I guess that an Eastern Orthodox or Uniat Catholic church may've once stood here, or that some atrocity may've taken place here during the 2nd World War.

Yeah, the lone wooden cross just got me thinking about things,  especially the vile, post-Christian, politically-'correct' experimentation that is now the norm and fashion in most parts of Western Europe.
