Just spent a wonderful few days (26th-29th February) staying at a hostel near the South railway station in Madrid (above).
Think the impressive-looking building below, which faced the South train station, is the Ministry of Agriculture:
And below there is a College of music:
With quite a few enticing tapas bars nearby:
