The canal, with its barges, seems to lie at the heart of Cropredy village, love the name of the canal above, of course.
It also offered us a scenic route to walk 5-6 miles down to Banbury train station for our early morning, Southampton-bound train.
After three days of highly varied music, it also gave us the welcome opportunity to stretch our legs, with the friendly coffee-seller at the bridge pointing us in the right direction:
Unfortunately, we were in a bit of a hurry so I didn't have much time for taking pictures, but the house below caught my eye:
Would be great to live in such a house, I think.
