We arrived at Mount Ephraim Gardens, near Faversham (Kent), for this year's A New Day Festival on the Thursday, late afternoon.
My friend informed me that the large-looking plums below are used for making gin:
In Canterbury, we'd seen a once picturesque, small city going further downhill, with the tents of the homeless being dotted around the streets:
At Mount Ephraim Gardens, a storm was brewing so we pitched our tents next to a group of trees that offered some decent shelter.
We'd decided to visit A New Day Festival again, mainly due to the good line up, with Tangerine Dream and Hawkwind being headliners:
This was our third New Day Festival, following 2019 and 2022, and I went to 3-4 similar Festivals at Mount Ephraim Gardens called The Canterbury Fayre in the late 1990s/early 2000s.
Mount Ephraim Gardens, with all its greenery, is a fantastic place for a music festival.
