Escaping the Neverending Snow in Warsaw

Yeah, the pictures below, taken at Plac Zabawiecela near Metro Politechnika, show that the snow is still going strong after Easter in Warsaw:

The rainbow in the middle of the pictures is a battered remnant of last summer which is now just a distant memory.

As the snow started as far back as November (or even October as some people claim), people are now passed the being 'browned off' stage, and just respond with some kind of satirical resignation, as life just goes on:

All in all, people just accept that spring may well now arrive as late as May.

Still, I'll be cheering myself up tonight watching Pain of Salvation; Anneke van Giersenberg; and Arstidir  doing accoustic sets at the Klub Progresja in Warsaw

Yeah, the Pain Of Salvation stuff seems to work well in accoustic guitar form, which is good to see, as I didn't realise it would be an accoustic gig until after I'd bought the ticket.  However, I'm possibly more looking forward to seeing the Icelandic band, Arstidir who more specialise in mellow accoustic form:

Love their version of 'Scarborough Fair', especially being set in a church (I think???) above.
