Szczebrzeszyn: Revisiting the Jewish Cemetery
Above is the candelabra-styled gate at the Jewish cemetery in Szczebrzeszyn, eastern Poland. The gate must be a recent addition to the site as I don't recall seeing it during any of my numerous previous visits to Szczebrzeszyn.
The notice below reveals that the cemetery dates back to the 16th century:

Always enjoy walking round Jewish cemeteries to look at the beautiful gravestones (often containing colourful candelabra-styled engravings):
There is a kind of dark shaded calmness in this cemetery as the small bushes intertwine with the gravestones:
