The guy above was a real character doing both juggling and flame-throwing to entertain the passers-by in Rossio Square, Lisbon. After each flame throw, I saw the guy heavily sweating and carefully wiping his mouth with a rag.
In and around Rossio Square, there were some quieter corners where people could just eat and relax:

As was the church below but in the opposite direction:
