Not long after passing the Whitehead Clock Tower:
I saw an old friend, Andy (Omar), we go as far back as St. Joseph's and St. Gabriel's, outside a really good cafe/diner near the Interchange:
It was nice to have a catch up, of course, and Andy let me know how another old friend, Daz Corgi, was getting on.
Plus, the cheese-and-onion pie at the cafe/diner was second to none, absolutely delicious with chips and mushy peas.
After this, I had a quick walk round the Outdoor Market:
Not to buy anything, just to sample the atmosphere.
Then I roamed over to the Robert Peel pub (near the Parish Church):
And finally caught up with an old friend, Wobbler:
It was a nice afternoon.
