Bury (Lancashire): A Bradley Fold Walk

 
 
A nice short walk round the Bradley Fold area of Bury here, starting with the local fishing lodges.
 
Think that somebody may be having a laugh with the name Thomas D'Argue:


Having just come back from the Lake District, I felt quite at home walking round the Bradley Fold lodges:


After strolling round the big lodge above, I walked up the road to the Radcliffe Freemasons building:


Turned left, and on the main road, saw a newly-built Gospel Church:


Nice to see a new church of any denomination being built in this godless day and age, of course.

Also really liked the row of old fashioned-looking houses below:


They kind of reminded me of a better, banished time.
