The day after the Head for the Hills Festival, I was up early Sunday morning in Shuttleworth:
An almost two-hour walk to Bury town centre lay ahead as I made my way to the top road, seeing the impressive gateway below:
And house inside it:
A bit further down the top road, just before a turning into Ramsbottom, I saw a wigwam in a pub garden:
With Holcombe Hill lying in the distance.
As I passed Christ Church on Walmersley Road:
I knew that I was more than halfway to Bury town centre.
