Still in Bury, one of my friends showed me a nice walk from Bradley Fold to the Railway pub in Radcliffe.
This involved walking down a short stretch of the long gone Bury-Bolton rail line:
After about 20 minutes or so, I spotted a bowling green:
And at the front, there was the Railway pub:
The Railway looks like a cracking pub, having a bowling green at the back.
About 5-10 minutes up from the Railway pub, I was on Bolton Road heading for Bury.
