These two pictures, both from the Sheep's Head Peninsula (I think???), near Bantry in county Cork, sum up just why I love Southern Ireland so much.
But what else draws me to visit Southern Ireland once a year or so? Well, to visit my old mate Dave Dealy and his family. The picture below is of me and Dave (in the foreground) from either the Duck Club or St. Bede's Club in Bury, Lancashire from about 25 years ago:
