Passed the church below while walking back from Barrowford Locks to Burnley on the Liverpool-Leeds Canal.
The church seemed to dominate the skyline near the Burnley football ground, Turf Moor
Came to discover that the church was Catholic, St. Mary of the Assumption:
With it having a crucifix in front:
And a Lourdes grotto round the back:
Have just read that this church is a listed building:
Having been built in the mid-19th century to replace a Catholic chapel near the entrance lodge to Towneley Hall.
