Cropredy Festival 2022: A Few Highlights

A few more highlights from our trip to Cropredy 2022, starting with the Slambovian Circus of Dreams below:

Who added a colourful presence to the main stage on the Friday afternoon (12th August):

Really enjoyed the Sharon Shannon Trio:

Especially towards the end of the set when they did Galway Girl and some lively jigs and reels which had people up dancing, kind of Irish style.

On Saturday afternoon (13th August), it was the turn of Holy Moly & The Crackers to really get the crowd going:

Especially during Cry With the Wolf and Upside Down.

Rosalie Cunningham, one of my highlights of the weekend, had a refreshing, retro kind of feel:

Ride on My Bike and Donny pt. Two (with Ric Sanders) were my favourite two tunes of the set:

Must also mention the Thumping Tommys from Friday afternoon (11th August), as in a festival atmosphere, I really enjoyed them without them being exactly my kind of music. Especially liked their version of Reet Petit.

The Thumping Tommys must've also really enjoyed themselves, because not long after their main stage set, they reappeared somewhere near the t-shirt tent to do a short set for Radio Oxford (I think):

Like the kind of colloquial quality that the Thumping Tommys have in their music.
